Use & Care
- The wok is pre-seasoned and ready to use upon delivery. Since it’s made upon each order, it will take 5-10 weeks before the shipment. You don’t need to heat the wok to burn off the coating before first use, but wash it with detergent. Then, stir-frying vegetable scraps is recommended in order to make the wok ready. - If you are going to use the wok with an electronic oven, please order the one with 1.6 mm thickness, which is the best for electronic ovens.

Yamada Kogyosho, Y.K. was founded in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan in 1957. Yamada is a family-owned craft factory run over three generations and they are the only manufacturer of hammered woks in Japan.
